Many of the most well-known classic, family games can be seen at the house of the protagonists, on a very large shelf full of board games which appears in several scenes. Shaggy the dog (who is really the family's father) uses Scrabble to communicate with his children.
Shagyy (Cole) tries to use the Scrabble pieces to communicate with the humans.
