E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (Steven Spielberg, 1982)

Probably the first role-playing game to ever appear in a movie! Elliot (Henry Thomas), his brother Michael (Robert MacNaughton) and friends play Dungeons & Dragons.
Other board games can be spotted at Elliot´s room and in other places of the house (see images). It´s obvious that MB is a sponsor.

The 1979 Super Simon can be first seen at Elliot´s room, then it disappears mysteriously
between shots and later can be seen at the left of the family's TV set

Super Simon in the center of the image. Several MB games at upper right corner (bottom
game is Numbers Up, probably the 1977 version)

MB 1977 Stratego and MB 1978 Chutes & Ladders (center, right) and behind the turntable
in the image below, together with other toys and puzzles and the Super Simon box

More board games, puzzles and toys over the actors´ heads, including Stratego, Super Simon
and Chutes & Ladders again. The same games seem to be changing places all along the movie!
