We probably would have waited a bigger presence of board games in a movie which happens in a toy store, however, we only see a few of them. There are, nevertheless, several references to them through the shop, especially in the sets.
Eric (Zach Mills) proposes Henry (Jason Bateman) to play checkers several times, but we never get to see them play.
